Swift Transit

DIU Transit BD transit operations ecosystem

Swift Transit is a full transit operations ecosystem built for modern bus networks. It connects passengers, drivers, fleet owners, and administrators through web apps, mobile apps, real-time GPS tracking, digital ticketing, and operational dashboards.

Swift Transit

The brief

Swift Transit is a real-time transit platform that connects passengers, drivers, and operators in one system. Users can discover routes, track buses live, and buy digital tickets, while drivers validate passengers and stream GPS data. The platform combines live tracking, QR ticketing, payments, and fleet management into a scalable, production-ready system.

Key features

Live GPS bus tracking with route discovery and real-time passenger visibility.

QR ticketing, digital validation, wallet flows, and payment integration across rider journeys.

Multi-actor workflows covering passengers, drivers, fleet owners, and administrators.

Operational dashboards for routes, fleet activity, ticketing, and system-wide performance.

Challenges

Keeping live location, ticket state, and validation flows synchronized across mobile apps and operator dashboards.

Designing a system that supports both customer experience and fleet-side operations without splitting the product in two.

Making payment, validation, and route intelligence work reliably inside a real-time transport environment.

Learnings

Transit products are operational systems first and consumer apps second.

Real-time mobility platforms need graceful handling for weak connectivity and delayed events.

Geo-spatial data becomes much more valuable when routing, ticketing, and analytics share the same model.

Result

A production-ready transit platform capable of supporting live public transport operations, not just route browsing.

A connected system that gives operators better control while making the passenger experience faster and clearer.

A strong portfolio example of large-surface product work across real-time systems, payments, and multi-actor operations.
